Katie’s mom was Dawn’s friend from work. I knew that Dawn referred me to them but I didn’t know that both Matthew and Katie were guests at Dawn and Ethan’s wedding.

Matthew emailed me back in the Fall of 2017. He wanted me to photograph his wedding. He was on a shoestring budget and to him, I was one of the most affordable wedding photographers in the Metro Detroit area.

I’ve always preferred shoestring budget weddings. So, I agreed wholeheartedly. I admire couples who have priorities higher than spending their hard earned money on very opulent weddings.
